I grew up in Tel Aviv with a deep sense of optimism and joy. For as long as I can remember, photography has been part of my life: images, memories preserved on paper and family albums filled with stories.
In my early years, I worked as a still photographer on film productions in Israel, Europe and the United States. Later, I opened my own photography studio, where for many years I worked for advertising agencies, events and a variety of private projects. As a photographer of high-end events, I wanted to present my work in albums that truly honored it. This led me to study bookbinding and to begin creating handmade custom-made photo albums.
For several years, I devoted myself to the production of fine handmade albums and from that I naturally moved into the production of book, both special hand-bound editions and books printed in traditional methods.
Today, I work with a wonderful team of professional biographers and graphic designers. The highly skilled interviewers and writers carefully shape each story into a meaningful literaty work, while the talented designers I collaborated with (including Michal Ackerman, Gavriel Kadishzon and Yael Bar-Dayan) each bring exceptional professionalism, sensitivity and creativity to the process. Together, we are deeply and personally involved in each story and work hand in hand on each book. Every project begins with an idea and gradually takes shape through a close creative dialogue between myself, the clients and the designers, until we find the perfect visual language for each story.
